     He lived at Downs House, Letcombe Bassett, Berkshire, England.2 He lived in 1935 at Wanborough, Swindon, Wiltshire, England.3 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).1

      From 7 August 1956, her married name became Jebb.

     Lt.-Gen. Sir William Francis Patrick Napier was born on 17 December 1785. He was the son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox. He married Caroline Amelia Fox, daughter of General Hon. Henry Edward Fox and Marianne Clayton, on 14 March 1812. He died on 12 February 1860 at age 74.2
     He wrote the book History of the Peninsular War.2 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1
