     General Sir Richard John Meade was born on 25 September 1821.3 He was the son of Captain John Meade.3 He died on 20 March 1894 at age 72 at Hyeres, France.3
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)1

     Hon. Richard Sebastion Willoughby Dickinson was born on 15 January 1897.1 He was the son of Willoughby Hyett Dickinson, 1st Baron Dickinson and Minnie Elizabeth Gordon Cumming Meade.2 He married May Southey Lovemore, daughter of Charles Benjamin Lovemore and Georgina Elizabeth Mabel Southey, on 15 May 1924.1 He died on 27 July 1935 at age 38.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal NAval Air Service.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards and RAF, formerly RNAS served WW I (despatches, Croix de Guerre.)1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He was Assistant Chief Secretary to the Government of North Rhodesia.1

Richard Sebastion Willoughby Dickinson, son of Willoughby Hyett Dickinson, 1st Baron Dickinson and Minnie Elizabeth Gordon Cumming Meade, on 15 May 1924.3 She died in 2000.1
     Her married name became Dickinson. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire in 1951.3 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire in 1957.3 She lived at The Poultry Court, Painswick, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.3

Richard Sebastion Willoughby Dickinson and May Southey Lovemore.3 He married, firstly, Margaret Ann McMeekan, daughter of Brigadier Gilbert Reader McMeekan, on 31 August 1957.1 He and Margaret Ann McMeekan were divorced in 1980.1 He married, secondly, Rita Doreen Bunyan in 1980.1 He died on 28 November 2019 at age 93.4
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Dickinson, of Painswick, co.      Margaret Ann McMeekan is the daughter of Brigadier Gilbert Reader McMeekan.1 She married Richard Clavering Hyett Dickinson, 2nd Baron Dickinson, son of Hon. Richard Sebastion Willoughby Dickinson and May Southey Lovemore, on 31 August 1957.2 She and Richard Clavering Hyett Dickinson, 2nd Baron Dickinson were divorced in 1980.2
     Margaret Ann McMeekan usually went by her middle name of Ann.2 After her marriage, Margaret Ann McMeekan was styled as Baroness Dickinson on 31 August 1957. From 31 August 1957, her married name became Dickinson.
