     Dorothy Mabel Lewis was the daughter of Joseph Lewis. She married Terence Conyngham Plunket, 6th Baron Plunket of Newton, son of William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket of Newton and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, on 4 December 1922. She died on 24 February 1938 at California, U.S.A., killed, along with her husband, in a plane accident.
     Her married name became Plunket.
