     Hon. Sir Richard McBride was born on 15 December 1870 at New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada.1 He was the son of Arthur Hill McBride and Mary D'Arcy.1 He married Christine Margaret McGillivray.1 He died on 16 August 1917 at age 46 at London, England.1
     He was invested as a King's Counsel (K.C.).2 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.).2 He held the office of Premier of British Columbia between 1903 and 1916. He had five other children.1

     Peter Neville Hood was born on 4 September 1913.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Neville Albert Hood and Eveline Mary Broad.2 He married Nancy Warrington Haward, daughter of Tristram Warrington Haward, on 7 November 1936.1 He died on 25 April 1969 at age 55.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. He fought in the Second World War.1 He was decorated with the award of the U.S. Legion Merit.1

     Nancy Warrington Haward was the daughter of Tristram Warrington Haward.2 She married Peter Neville Hood, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Neville Albert Hood and Eveline Mary Broad, on 7 November 1936.1 She died on 5 April 1968.1
      Her married name became Hood.
