     Richard Francis Wellesley, 6th Earl Cowley was born on 12 June 1946.1 He was the son of Denis Arthur Wellesley, 5th Earl Cowley and Elizabeth Anne Papillon.1 He married Maria Della Buenaño, daughter of Enrique Buenaño, in 1971.1 He died on 13 December 1975 at age 29, while playing squash.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Viscount Dangan, co. Meath [U.K., 1857] on 23 March 1968.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Earl Cowley [U.K., 1857] on 23 March 1968.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Cowley of Wellesley, co. Somerset [U.K., 1828] on 23 March 1968.1 He held the office of Government Whip of the House of Lords in 1974.2

O'Hara.1 She married, firstly, Slavoj John Onsorge, son of Joseph Onsorge, in 1937 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.2 She married, secondly, Lieutenant Arthur William Frederick Simmonds in 1943 at Hammersmith, London, England.1,2 She married, thirdly, Denis Arthur Wellesley, 5th Earl Cowley, son of Christian Arthur Wellesley, 4th Earl Cowley and Mae Pickard, on 11 July 1950.1 She died on 28 October 1959, as the result of a motor accident.1
      From 1937, her married name became Onsorge.2 From 1943, her married name became Simmonds.1 Her married name became Wellesley.

     Janet Elizabeth Mary Aiyar was the daughter of Ramiah Dorasawamy Aiyar and Glenys Mary Pugh.1,2 She married, firstly, Denis Arthur Wellesley, 5th Earl Cowley, son of Christian Arthur Wellesley, 4th Earl Cowley and Mae Pickard, on 15 February 1961.1 She married, secondly, Pierson John Shirley Dixon, son of Sir Pierson John Dixon and Alexandra Ismene Atchley, in 1976.1 She and Pierson John Shirley Dixon were divorced in 1981.1 She died on 25 October 2011.2
      Janet Elizabeth Mary Aiyar also went by the nick-name of Tiger.3 Her married name became Wellesley. As a result of her marriage, Janet Elizabeth Mary Aiyar was styled as Countess Cowley on 29 August 1962. From 1976, her married name became Dixon.1
