     Denis Grey Wigan was born on 21 June 1893. He was the son of Sir Frederick William Wigan, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Adair Grey.1 He married Madeline Mabel Ambrose Adeane, daughter of Charles Robert Whorwood Adeane and Madeline Pamela Constance Blanche Wyndham, on 25 October 1915.1 He died on 31 December 1958 at age 65.1
     Denis Grey Wigan gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 60th Rifles.1

     Sir Frederick William Wigan, 2nd Bt. gained the title of 2nd Baronet Wigan.
