     Major Gordon Bentley Foster is the son of Leonard Foster.1 He married Phyllis Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington, daughter of Major Sir Thomas Edward Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington, 12th Bt. and Lady Kathleen Mary Alexina Cuffe, on 18 December 1919. He married Helen Baring, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Hon. Everard Baring and Lady Ulrica Duncombe, on 16 September 1939.1 He died on 1 April 1963.1
     Major Gordon Bentley Foster held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He lived at Leysthorpe, Oswaldkirk, Yorkshire, England.
