Sir Charles Frederick Richmond Brown, 4th Bt. was born on 6 December 1902.2 He was the son of Frederick Richmond Brown and Anne Luxmoore Lees.2 He married, firstly, Audrey Baring, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Hon. Everard Baring and Lady Ulrica Duncombe, on 29 November 1933.1 He and Audrey Baring were divorced in 1948.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Gwendolen Carlis Meysey-Thompson, daughter of Henry Meysey Meysey-Thompson, 1st and last Baron Knaresborough and Ethel Adeline Pottinger, on 20 November 1951.2 He and Hon. Gwendolen Carlis Meysey-Thompson were divorced in 1968.2 He married, thirdly, Pauline Emily Gwyneth Mansel Morgan, daughter of Arden William Llewelyn Morgan, on 27 March 1969.2 He died on 9 July 1995 at age 92.2,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Welsh Guards.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Brown, of Richmond Hill, Lancashire [U.K., 1863] on 29 August 1933.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 7th Battalion, Green Howards (Territorial Army.)2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1962.2
