     Mabel Maria Gage was born on 10 June 1866. She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Edward Thomas Gage and Ella Henrietta Maxse. She married General Sir William Eliot Peyton on 27 April 1899. She died on 12 May 1901 at age 34.

     General Sir William Eliot Peyton was born in 1866. He married, secondly, Gertrude Hay Lempriere, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Arthur Reid Lempriere.1 He married Mabel Maria Gage, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Edward Thomas Gage and Ella Henrietta Maxse, on 27 April 1899. He died on 14 November 1931.
     General Sir William Eliot Peyton was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1

Robert William Duff, son of Adam Duff and Eleanor Fraser, on 9 January 1866 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 She died on 29 January 1928 at age 91.1
     Her married name became Duff.
