     Captain James Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther was born on 20 December 1806.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Robert Anstruther and Lucy Charlotte Hamilton.1 He married, firstly, Georgiana Charlotte Burrell, daughter of Hon. Lindsey Merrick Peter Burrell and Frances Daniell, on 6 December 1838.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Georgiana Christiana Barrington, daughter of Reverend George Barrington, 5th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Elizabeth Adair, on 1 November 1847.1 He died on 23 December 1882 at age 76.1
     He was given the name of James Hamilton Anstruther at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 46th Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Hintlesham Hall, Suffolk, EnglandG.1

     Georgiana Charlotte Burrell was the daughter of Hon. Lindsey Merrick Peter Burrell and Frances Daniell.1 She married Captain James Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther, son of Brig.-Gen. Robert Anstruther and Lucy Charlotte Hamilton, on 6 December 1838.1 She died on 21 September 1843.1
     Her married name became Lloyd-Anstruther.

     Hon. Lindsey Merrick Peter Burrell was born on 20 June 1786.2 He was the son of Peter Burrell, 1st Baron Gwydyr and Priscilla Barbara Elizabeth Bertie, Baroness Willoughby de Eresby.2 He married Frances Daniell, daughter of James Daniell and Lucy Butler, on 13 July 1807.2 He died on 1 January 1848 at age 61.2
     He had two other sons who died unmarried and four other daughters.2

     Hon. Georgiana Christiana Barrington was the daughter of Reverend George Barrington, 5th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Elizabeth Adair.1,2 She married Captain James Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther, son of Brig.-Gen. Robert Anstruther and Lucy Charlotte Hamilton, on 1 November 1847.1 She died on 11 July 1881.1
     Her married name became Lloyd-Anstruther.
