     Anne Rhodes Williams Brown was born in 1819 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of James Brown and Charlotte Rhodes.1 She married James William Scarlett, son of Sir William Anglin Scarlett and Mary Williams, on 14 September 1837 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.1,2 She died on 25 December 1868.1,2
     From 14 September 1837, her married name became Scarlett.1

     Major Charles James Balfour was born on 8 February 1889. He was the son of Captain Charles Barrington Balfour and Lady Helena McDonnell.1 He married Hon. Aurea Versa Baring, daughter of Francis Denzil Edward Baring, 5th Baron Ashburton and Hon. Mabel Edith Hood, on 10 January 1917.1 He died on 18 August 1939 at age 50.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

     Frances Donnelly was born in 1885 at U.S.A.G.2 She was the daughter of James Caryll Donnelly.1 She married Francis Denzil Edward Baring, 5th Baron Ashburton, son of Alexander Hugh Baring, 4th Baron Ashburton and Hon. Leonora Caroline Digby, on 19 February 1906 at the Mairie, Paris, FranceG.1 She died on 31 March 1959.2
     She was also known as Frances Belmont.1 She was an actress at U.S.A.G.1 From 19 February 1906, her married name became Baring. After her marriage, Frances Donnelly was styled as Baroness Ashburton on 19 February 1906.
