Brig.-Gen. Robert Anstruther was born on 3 March 1768.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Anstruther of Balcaskie, 3rd Bt. and Lady Janet Erskine.3,1 He married Lucy Charlotte Hamilton, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Hamilton and Lucy Lloyd, on 16 March 1799 at Margate, Kent, England.1,3 He died on 14 January 1809 at age 40.2 He was buried at Corunna, Spain.2

Sir Robert Anstruther of Balcaskie, 3rd Bt. was born on 19 April 1733.2 He was the son of Sir Philip Anstruther of Balcaskie, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Hay.2 He was baptised on 21 April 1733 at Carnbee, Fife, Scotland.2 He married Lady Janet Erskine, daughter of Alexander Erskine, 5th Earl of Kellie and Janet Pitcairn, on 17 August 1763.2 He died on 2 August 1818 at age 85 at Balcaskie, Fife, Scotland.2 He was buried at Carnbee, Fife, Scotland.2
He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Anstruther, of Wrae, co. Linlithgow [N.S., 1694] on 27 May 1763, and from 1698, "of Balcaskie, co. Fife."2

Lucretia Prosser was born in 1754.2 She was the daughter of George Augustus Prosser and Lucretia Timewell.1,2 She married Admiral Charles Powell Hamilton, son of Lord Anne Hamilton and Anna Charlotta Maria Powell, in May 1777.1 She died in 1825.2
