John Leyland Feilden1

     John Leyland Feilden was born on 29 September 1821.1 He was the son of Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt. and Mary Haughton Jackson.2 He married, firstly, Eliza Whigham Kennedy, daughter of James Kennedy, on 8 October 1851.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Isabella Collin, daughter of Peter Collin, on 31 October 1894.1 He died on 12 March 1915 at age 93.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 3rd Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.1

     James William Scarlett was born in 1812 at Jamaica.1 He was the son of Sir William Anglin Scarlett and Mary Williams.1 He married Anne Rhodes Williams Brown, daughter of James Brown and Charlotte Rhodes, in 1837 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.1 He died in 1890.1
     He was a practising barrister-at-law.1

      From 2 April 1842, her married name became Hamilton. From 14 January 1868, her married name became Ranking.1
