Randolph Algernon Ronald Stewart, 12th Earl of Galloway was born on 21 November 1892.1 He was the son of Randolph Henry Stewart, 11th Earl of Galloway and Amy Mary Pauline Cliffe.1 He married Philippa Fendall Wendell, daughter of Jacob Wendell, on 14 October 1924.1 He died on 13 June 1978 at age 85.1
