     Admiral Thomas Le Hunte Ward was born on 4 August 1830.1 He was the son of Reverend Bernard John Ward and Isabella Frances Phillipps.1 He married Helen Mary Maconchy, daughter of George Maconchy, on 29 April 1869.1 He died on 24 September 1907 at age 77.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.1

     From 29 April 1869, her married name became Le Hunte Ward.1
