     Admiral Thomas Le Hunte Ward was born on 4 August 1830.1 He was the son of Reverend Bernard John Ward and Isabella Frances Phillipps.1 He married Helen Mary Maconchy, daughter of George Maconchy, on 29 April 1869.1 He died on 24 September 1907 at age 77.1
     Admiral Thomas Le Hunte Ward was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the service of the Royal Navy.1
