     Major Sir Arthur James Robert Collins was the son of Colonel William Fellowes Collins.1 He married Elizabeth Mary Bromley, daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Arthur Bromley, 8th Bt. and Laura Mary Dunsmuir, on 27 October 1965.1 He died on 28 December 2000.2
     Major Sir Arthur James Robert Collins was a senior partner with Withers and Company.3 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Horse Guards.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1980.1,3
