     George Bligh was born on 31 October 1714.1 He was the son of John Bligh, 1st Earl of Darnley and Theodosia Hyde, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold).1 He died, in infancy.1

     General Hon. Edward Bligh was born on 19 September 1769.1 He was the son of John Bligh, 3rd Earl of Darnley and Mary Stoyte.1 He died on 2 November 1840 at age 71, without issue.1

Charles Brownlow, 1st Baron Lurgan1

     Charles Brownlow, 1st Baron Lurgan was born on 17 April 1795.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Brownlow and Caroline Ashe.1 He married, firstly, Lady Mary Bligh, daughter of John Bligh, 4th Earl of Darnley and Elizabeth Brownlow, on 1 June 1822.2 He married, secondly, Jane Macneill, daughter of Roderick Macneill of Barra and Jean Cameron, on 15 July 1828.2 He died on 30 April 1847 at age 52.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Armagh between 1818 and 1832.1 He was created 1st Baron Lurgan, of Lurgan, co. Armagh [U.K.] on 14 May 1839.1

     Lt.-Col. Charles Brownlow was born on 30 April 1757.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. William Brownlow and Judith Letitia Meredyth.1 He married Caroline Ashe, daughter of Benjamin Ashe, in 1785.1 He died on 11 September 1822 at age 65.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 57th Regiment.1 He lived at Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland.1

     Caroline Ashe was the daughter of Benjamin Ashe.1 She married Lt.-Col. Charles Brownlow, son of Rt. Hon. William Brownlow and Judith Letitia Meredyth, in 1785.1 She died in 1838.1
     From 1785, her married name became Brownlow.1

Roderick Macneill of Barra1

     Roderick Macneill of Barra was the son of Roderick ‘The Resolute' Macneil, 20th of Barra and Anne Macneil.2 He married Jean Cameron, daughter of Sir Ewen Cameron of Fassiefern, 1st Bt. and Louisa Campbell, in 1787.3 He died in 1822 at Manchester, Lancashire, England.3
     He prospered greatly during the boom in the kelp industry, but overspent and left the Estate of Barra in dire condition.3 He fought in the War of the American Revolution.3 Roderick Macneill of Barra also went by the nick-name of Roderick 'the Gentle'.3

     From 1 June 1822, her married name became Brownlow.1
