     Hon. Edward Brownlow was born on 14 December 1836.1 He was the son of Charles Brownlow, 1st Baron Lurgan and Jane Macneill.1 He married Helène Clementina Hardy, daughter of John Hardy, on 15 October 1861.1 He died on 17 January 1899 at age 62, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Fusilier Guards.1
