     Mary Stephanie Nicholson was born circa 1870.1 She was the daughter of William Nicholson and Isabella Sarah Meek.2 She married Lt.-Col. Henry Matthew Ridley, son of Reverend Nicholas James Ridley and Frances Touchet, on 5 September 1891.1 She died on 22 March 1948, without issue.1
     From 5 September 1891, her married name became Ridley. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1

Lt.-Col. Henry Matthew Ridley1

     Lt.-Col. Henry Matthew Ridley was born on 2 February 1851.2 He was the son of Reverend Nicholas James Ridley and Frances Touchet.2 He married Mary Stephanie Nicholson, daughter of William Nicholson and Isabella Sarah Meek, on 5 September 1891.1 He died on 24 April 1931 at age 80.2
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 7th Hussars.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1920.2

     Mary Elizabeth Blackett-Ord was born in 1846 at Heddon on the Wall, Northumberland, England.1 She was the daughter of Reverend John Alexander Blackett-Ord and Anne Jane Hamilton.1 She married Admiral Charles Ludovic Darley Waddilove, son of Reverend William James Waddilove and Elizabeth Anne Graham, in 1869 at Haltwhistle, Northumberland, England.1 She died on 10 January 1888.1
     From 1869, her married name became Waddilove.1

     Sir Thomas Nightingale, 1st Bt. was the son of Geoffrey Nightingale and Katharine Clamps.2 He married, firstly, Millicent Clerk, daughter of Sir Robert Clerk.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Chester, daughter of Sir Robert Chester.1 He died in January 1644.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1627.1 He was created 1st Baronet Nightingale, of Newport Pond, co. Essex [England] on 1 September 1628.1 He lived at Newport Pond, Essex, England.1 He lived at Kneesworth, Cambridgeshire, England.1
