     She gained the title of HRH Princess Caroline of Denmark.1 She was given the name of Caroline-Matilde Louise Dagmar Christine Maud Augusta Ingeborg Thyra Adelaide zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg at birth.2

     Knud Christian Frederik Michael zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Hereditary Prince of Denmark was born on 27 July 1900 at Sorgenfri Castle, Denmark.3 He was the son of Christian X zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, King of Denmark and Alexandrine Auguste Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin.1 He married Caroline Mathilde zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Princess of Denmark, daughter of Harald Christian Frederik zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Prince of Denmark and Helene Adelheid Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 8 September 1933 at Fredensborg Castle, Denmark.3 He died on 14 June 1976 at age 75 at Copenhagen, Denmark.1
