William Cosby Trench and Frances Elizabeth Shawe-Taylor.¹ He married, firstly, Norah Maude Becher, daughter of Venerable John Richard Hedges Becher and Maud Marion Robinson, on 8 February 1921 at St. Finbar's Cathedral, St. Finbar's, County Cork, Ireland.^1,3 He married, secondly, Marian Gwendolyn Young, daughter of Robert Young, on 3 February 1960.¹ He died on 22 March 1960 at age 61 at Bagenalstown, County Carlow, Ireland.^1,2
     He was given the name of Power Frederick Oliver Trench at birth.² On 19 May 1899 his name was legally changed to Walter Frederick Oliver Trench re-registered.² He gained the rank of Flying Officer in 1917 in the service of the Royal Flying Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1917 and 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer on 1 April 1918 in the service of the Royal Air Force.¹ He was a director of the Kenya Farmer's Association in 1930.¹

William Cosby Trench and Frances Elizabeth Shawe-Taylor, on 8 February 1921 at St. Finbar's Cathedral, St. Finbar's, County Cork, Ireland.^1,4 She died on 28 April 1958 at Kenya.¹
      From 8 February 1921, her married name became Trench.¹

     Venerable John Richard Hedges Becher was born on 13 March 1861.² He was the son of John Richard Hedges Becher and Lucinda Jane Elizabeth Hull.³ He married Nicola Sophia Blunden, daughter of Sir John Blunden, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Knox, on 22 June 1887.⁴ He died on 11 May 1946 at age 85 at Hilloden, County Carlow, Ireland.^4,2

     P/O John Cecil Oliver Trench was born on 23 September 1923 at Kenya.¹ He was the son of Walter Frederick Oliver Trench and Norah Maude Becher.¹ He died on 22 October 1942 at age 19 at Middle East, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the service of the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.
