     Sir Thomas Percy, 1st Earl Egremont was created 1st Earl Egremont [England] in 1449.1 He fought in the Battle of Stamford Bridge in July 1456, fought as a result of the dispute between 1st Lord of Montagu and 1st Lord Egremont.1
