     Wilhelm IV Herzog von Bayern-Straubing was born in 1365.2 He was the son of Albrecht I Herzog von Bayern-Straubing and Margareta von Schlesien-Liegnitz.1 He married Marguerite de Bourgogne, daughter of Philippe II de Valois, Duc de Bourgogne and Marguerite de Flandre, Comtesse de Flandre, in 1385 at Cambrai, France. He died in 1417.2
     Wilhelm IV Herzog von Bayern-Straubing was a member of the House of Wittelsbach. He gained the title of Herzog von Bayern-Straubing. He gained the title of Comte de Hainaut. He gained the title of Comte de Zélande. He succeeded to the title of Comte de Hollande in 1404.1
