     Captain Guy Lutley Sclater was born on 15 August 1868.1 He was the son of Philip Lutley Sclater and Jane Anne Eliza Blair.1 He married Evelyn Muriel Chappell, daughter of Edward Chappell, on 2 September 1907.1 He died on 26 November 1914 at age 46, lost in H.M.S. Bulwark, off Chatham.1
     Captain Guy Lutley Sclater gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     Commander Claude Edward Lutley Sclater was born on 24 January 1910.1 He is the son of Captain Guy Lutley Sclater and Evelyn Muriel Chappell.1 He married Helen Mansel Colvile, daughter of Commander Mansel Brabazon Fiennes Colvile, on 2 March 1935.1
     Commander Claude Edward Lutley Sclater graduated with the degree of Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was decorated with the Companion of the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)
