     David John Yorke was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).3 He gained the rank of Clitheroe in the service of the 2nd Lieutenant, Life Guards.3 He was partner of Ingham and Yorke, surveyors and land agents.3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1956 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.3 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.).3 He lived in 2003 at The Carriage House, Halton Place, Hellifield, Skipton, Yorkshire, England.3
