Granville George Algernon Egerton1

     Granville George Algernon Egerton was born on 10 May 1859.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Arthur Frederick Egerton and Helen Smith.2 He died on 3 May 1951 at age 91, unmarried.1
     He fought in the Afghan Expedition between 1879 and 1880.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He fought in the Egyptian Expedition in 1882.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1905.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was Base Commandant of the MEF.1 He gained the rank of Colonel between 1921 and 1929 in the Highland Light Infantry.1

     Cecil Martin Egerton was born in 1860.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Arthur Frederick Egerton and Helen Smith.1 He married Gladys Mary Sharpe, daughter of Alfred Ingram Sharpe, on 16 August 1906.2 He died on 10 January 1931.2

     From 14 August 1888, her married name became Jameson.

     Alexandra Elizabeth Ritchie was the daughter of Henry Nattras Ritchie.1 She married, firstly, William Charles Bellairs before 1900.1 She married, secondly, Major Claude Francis Arthur Egerton, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Arthur Frederick Egerton and Helen Smith, on 28 June 1900.1 She died on 30 July 1938.1
     From before 1900, her married name became Bellairs.1 From 28 June 1900, her married name became Egerton.1

     Francis Nicholas Smith was born on 31 August 1838.1 He was the son of Martin Tucker Smith and Louisa Ridley.1 He married, firstly, Constance Ella Winthrop.1 He married, secondly, Frances Catherine Lowe, daughter of William Drury Drury-Lowe and Hon. Caroline Esther Curzon, in 1868.1 He died in 1927.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1907.2 He lived at Wingfield Park, Ambergate, Derbyshire, England.2

     Frances Catherine Lowe was born in 1842 at Florence, Italy.2 She was the daughter of William Drury Drury-Lowe and Hon. Caroline Esther Curzon.2 She married Francis Nicholas Smith, son of Martin Tucker Smith and Louisa Ridley, in 1868.1 She died in 1879.2
     She was given the name of Frances Catherine Holden at birth.2 In 1849 her name was legally changed to Frances Catherine Lowe.2 From 1868, her married name became Smith.1
