     Robert Annesley, 9th Earl Annesley was born on 20 February 1900.1 He was the son of Arthur Albert O'Donel Valentia Annesley and Elizabeth Mary Ooms.1 He married Nora Harrison, daughter of Walter Harrison, on 19 April 1922.1 He died on 21 February 1979 at age 79.1
     He fought in the First World War, in the Royal Navy.2 He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Signals.2 He was a civil servant.2 He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Glerawly, of co. Fermanagh [I., 1766] on 29 June 1957.1 He succeeded as the 9th Earl Annesley, of Castlewellan, co. Down [I., 1789] on 29 June 1957.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Annesley, of Castle Wellan, co.      Sir Thomas de Vere was born circa 1282.1 He was the son of Robert de Vere, 6th Earl of Oxford and Margaret de Mortimer.1 He married Agnes de Ros, daughter of William de Ros, 1st Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Maud de Vaux, before 17 June 1315.1 He died before 12 May 1329.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1306.1 He fought in the Battle of Boroughbridge in March 1321/22.1
