     Alexander Gordon, 5th of Abergeldie was the son of Alexander Gordon, 4th of Abergeldie and Janet Irvine.1 He married Margaret Mackintosh, daughter of Malcolm Mackintosh, 15th Chief of Clan Mackintosh.1 He died in 1601, without issue.1
     
     He also had another four younger sons and five other daughters.1

     Her married name became Forbes.2 Her married name became Grant.1 Her married name became Gordon.1 From 1604, her married name became Sutherland.2
