     Alexander Gordon, 5th of Abergeldie was the son of Alexander Gordon, 4th of Abergeldie and Janet Irvine.1 He married Margaret Mackintosh, daughter of William Mackintosh of that Ilk, 15th Chief.1 He died in 1601, without issue.1
     
     He also had another four younger sons and five other daughters.1

     Her married name became Grant.1 Her married name became Gordon.1
