He was born on 19 December 1898.1 He was the son of Louis Samuel Montagu, 2nd Baron Swaythling and Gladys Helen Rachel Goldsmid. He and Mary Violet Levy were divorced.1 He married, firstly, Mary Violet Levy, daughter of Major Walter Henry Levy, on 21 April 1925. He and Mary Violet Levy were divorced in 1942. He married, secondly, Jean Marcia Leith-Marshall, daughter of G. G. Leith-Marshall, on 13 August 1945. He died in 1990, by his 1st w:.1
     He was Lieutenant Res Offrs Grenadier –30, dir Samuel Montagu, V-Chm Price Regulation Ctee London Area 1943–46, Chm Retail Licensing Ctee London 1943, Master Farmers' County 1962, Pres: Royal Assoc Br Dairy Farmers 1973–74 and English Guernsey Cattle Soc Gds 1917.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)      Alexander Gordon, 4th of Abergeldie was the son of James Gordon, 3rd of Abergeldie and Janet Leith.1 He married Janet Irvine, daughter of Alexander Irvine of Lonmay and Elizabeth Ogilvy.2 He died in 1594.1
     He fought in the Battle of Glenlivet in 1594, fighting for the !st Marquess of Huntly.1

     He was the Abbot at Hautevilliers, France.
