Sir Eric Vincent de la Rue, 3rd Bt. was born on 5 August 1906.1 He was the son of Sir Evelyn Andros de la Rue, 2nd Bt. and Mary Violet Francklin.2 He married, firstly, Cecilia Lenella Beva Waring, daughter of Major Walter Waring, on 5 June 1945.1 He married, secondly, Christine Schellin, daughter of Kurt Schellin, on 13 February 1964.1 He died in 1988.1
