     Sir Evelyn Andros de la Rue, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 October 1879.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Andros de la Rue, 1st Bt. and Emily Maria Speed.2 He married Mary Violet Francklin, daughter of John Liell Francklin, on 17 February 1903.1 He died on 30 November 1950 at age 71.1
     Sir Evelyn Andros de la Rue, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet de la Rue, of Cadogan Square, Chelsea, London [U.K., 1898] on 10 April 1911.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal East Kent Yeomanry.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Air Force.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.1
