     Major Sir Kenelm Cayley, 10th Bt. was born on 24 September 1896.¹ He is the son of Sir George Everard Arthur Cayley, 9th Bt. and Lady Mary Susan Montagu-Stuart-Wortley.² He married Frances Elizabeth Edwyna Brewis, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Bertie Brewis, on 17 September 1929.¹ He died on 27 December 1967 at age 71.¹
     Major Sir Kenelm Cayley, 10th Bt. gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and became a POW.¹ He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Cayley, of Brompton, co. York [E., 1661] on 15 November 1917.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He gained the rank of Major.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹
