     Mary Carnegy was the daughter of Thomas Carnegy.1 She married Sir George Macpherson-Grant of Invereshie, 1st Bt., son of Captain John Macpherson and Isabella Wilson, on 26 August 1803.1 She died on 31 August 1854.1
     On 26 August 1803 her name was legally changed to Macpherson. From 13 April 1806, her married name became Macpherson-Grant.1
