     Algernon Hamilton Stannus Goff was born on 14 April 1863.1 He was the son of Joseph Goff and Lady Adelaide Henrietta Louisa Hortense Knox.2 He married Emily Dora Greenhill Gardyne, daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Greenhill Gardyne and Hon. Amelia Anne Drummond, on 24 February 1906.1 He died on 20 June 1936 at age 73.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He lived in 1911 at Hale Park, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1915.1 In 1919 at Standerwick Court, Somerset, EnglandG, (an unknown value.)1 He was New Tag Hale Park in 1920.1

     Emily Dora Greenhill Gardyne was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Greenhill Gardyne and Hon. Amelia Anne Drummond.2 She married Algernon Hamilton Stannus Goff, son of Joseph Goff and Lady Adelaide Henrietta Louisa Hortense Knox, on 24 February 1906.1 She died on 17 September 1915.1
     From 24 February 1906, her married name became Goff.

     He lived at Summers Place, Billingshurst, Sussex, EnglandG.1
