Jennifer Home-Rigg is the daughter of John Brougham Home-Rigg.1 She married, firstly, Gerald Percy, son of Lord William Richard Percy and Mary Swinton, on 30 October 1954. She and Gerald Percy were divorced.2 She married, secondly, Sir John Crichton-Stuart, 6th Marquess of the County of Bute, son of Sir John Crichton-Stuart, 5th Marquess of the County of Bute and Lady Eileen Beatrice Forbes, on 12 November 1978.1
Her married name became Percy. As a result of her marriage, Jennifer Home-Rigg was styled as Marchioness of Bute on 12 November 1978. From 12 November 1978, her married name became Crichton-Stuart. She was the proprietor of Bute Wines, Mount Stuart.1 She lived in 2003 at 18 St. Bernard's Row, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1
