Mabel Baring was born on 21 June 1861.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Charles Baring and Helen Graham.1 She married Richard Tassell Anthony Grant, son of Sir Thomas Tassell Grant and Emma (?), on 3 September 1884.1 She died on 7 May 1917 at age 55.1
