     Canon Hon. Robert Grimston was born on 18 April 1860. He was the son of James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam and Elizabeth Joanna Weyland.2 He married Gertrude Mary Amelia Villiers, daughter of Reverend Charles Villiers and Florence Mary Tyssen-Amherst, on 20 August 1896.3 He died on 8 July 1928 at age 68.
     Canon Hon. Robert Grimston lived at Darrowfield House, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.

     James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam was born on 22 February 1809. He was the son of James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam and Lady Charlotte Jenkinson. He married Elizabeth Joanna Weyland, daughter of Major Richard Weyland, on 12 September 1844. He died on 27 July 1895 at age 86.
     James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam gained the title of 2nd Earl of Verulam.

     Elizabeth Joanna Weyland was the daughter of Major Richard Weyland. She married James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam, son of James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam and Lady Charlotte Jenkinson, on 12 September 1844. She died on 5 July 1886.
     Her married name became Grimston.

     Commander William Grimston was born on 7 January 1855. He was the son of James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam and Elizabeth Joanna Weyland. He died on 10 May 1900 at age 45, unmarried.
     Commander William Grimston gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.

     Harriot Elizabeth Grimston was born circa 1845. She was the daughter of James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam and Elizabeth Joanna Weyland. She married Maj.-Gen. Francis Harwood Poore on 24 March 1885. She died on 15 August 1888.
     Her married name became Poore.
