Major Ronald Aird was born on 4 May 1902.1 He was the son of Malcolm Rucker Aird and Nellie Margaret Dummett.1 He married Viola Mary Baring, daughter of Sir Godfrey Baring, 1st Bt. and Eva Hermione Mackintosh, on 16 April 1925.1 He died in 1986.1
