     Lady Margaret Jane FitzRoy was born on 27 April 1916.1 She was the daughter of William Henry Alfred FitzRoy, Viscount Ipswich and Auriol Margaretta Brougham.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Eustace John Blois Nelson, son of Roland Hugh Nelson and Hylda Letitia Grace Blois, on 10 October 1936.1 She died before 1997.1
     Lady Margaret Jane FitzRoy usually went by her middle name of Jane.2 On 25 June 1931 she was granted the rank of a duke's daughter.1 Her married name became Nelson.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Eustace John Blois Nelson was the son of Roland Hugh Nelson and Hylda Letitia Grace Blois.2 He married Lady Margaret Jane FitzRoy, daughter of William Henry Alfred FitzRoy, Viscount Ipswich and Auriol Margaretta Brougham, on 10 October 1936.2 He died in 1993.2
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 Eustace.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Grenadier Guards.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He lived at Burpham Lodge, Burpham, Arundel, Sussex, EnglandG.1

     Susanna Mary McTaggart-Stewart was born on 1 April 1878. She was the daughter of Sir Mark John McTaggart-Stewart, 1st Bt. and Marianne Susanna Ommaney.1 She married, firstly, Archibald Patrick Thomas Borthwick, 20th Lord Borthwick, son of Cunninghame Borthwick, 19th Lord Borthwick and Harriet Alice Day, on 18 July 1901 at Ardwell, Wigtownshire, ScotlandG.1 She married, secondly, Alfred William Maitland FitzRoy, 8th Duke of Grafton, son of Lt.-Col. Augustus Charles Lennox FitzRoy, 7th Duke of Grafton and Anna Balfour, on 8 January 1916.2 She died on 3 October 1961 at age 83.3
     From 18 July 1901, her married name became Borthwick.1 After her marriage, Susanna Mary McTaggart-Stewart was styled as Baroness Borthwick on 18 July 1901. From 8 January 1916, her married name became Fitzroy.2 She was awarded the Order of Mercy with bar.4 After her marriage, Susanna Mary McTaggart-Stewart was styled as Duchess of Grafton on 4 December 1918. She was appointed Dame of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.J.St.J.)4
