     Sir Charles Barrington, 5th Bt. was born after 1670.1 He was the son of Thomas Barrington and Lady Anne Rich.1 He married, firstly, Bridget Monson, daughter of Sir John Monson and Judith Pelham, on 20 April 1693 at St. Bride's, Fleet Street, London, EnglandG.1 He and Anna Marie FitzWilliam obtained a marriage license on 23 May 1700.1 He died on 29 January 1714/15, without issue.1 He was buried at Hatfield Broadoak, Essex, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 2 July 1714) was proven (by probate) in December 1715.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Barrington, of Barrington Hall [in Hatfield Broadoak], co. Essex [E., 1611] on 26 November 1691.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex between February 1694 and 1715.1 He held the office of Vice-Admiral of Essex.1
     Wotton's Baronetage recrds that he was "a fast friend of the Church and Monarchy, and a courteous affable gentleman, as much esteemed as any in the county he lived in, and died generally lamented by all his friends."1

     Bridget Monson was born circa 1674.1 She was the daughter of Sir John Monson and Judith Pelham.1 She married Sir Charles Barrington, 5th Bt., son of Thomas Barrington and Lady Anne Rich, on 20 April 1693 at St. Bride's, Fleet Street, London, EnglandG.1 She died in December 1699.1
     From 20 April 1693, her married name became Barrington.1

     Sir John Monson was the son of Sir John Monson, 2nd Bt. and Ursula Oxenbridge.2,3 He married Judith Pelham, daughter of Sir Thomas Pelham, 2nd Bt. and Mary Wilbraham, on 7 June 1647.3 He died in 1674.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincoln in 1660.1

     Judith Pelham was the daughter of Sir Thomas Pelham, 2nd Bt. and Mary Wilbraham.1,3 She married Sir John Monson, son of Sir John Monson, 2nd Bt. and Ursula Oxenbridge, on 7 June 1647.4
     From 7 June 1647, her married name became Monson.

     Anna Marie FitzWilliam was born circa 1677.1 She was the daughter of William Fitzwilliam, 1st Earl Fitzwilliam and Anne Cremor.1 She and Sir Charles Barrington, 5th Bt. obtained a marriage license on 23 May 1700.1 She died in July 1717 at Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 She was buried at Marham, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 7 August 1717.1
     From 23 May 1700, her married name became Barrington.1

     Charles Shales was born in 1670.2 He married Anne Barrington, daughter of Thomas Barrington and Lady Anne Rich, on 17 November 1698 at Temple Church, London, England.3 He died in 1734.4
     He was goldsmith to Queen Anne.1
