     Dorothy Lytton was the daughter of Sir William Lytton and Anne Slaney.¹ She married Sir John Barrington, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Barrington, 2nd Bt. and Francis Gobert, before 1643.¹ She died on 27 October 1703 at St. Mary's Church, Woolnoth, London, England.¹ She was buried at Hatfield Broadoak, Essex, England.¹ Her will was probated in November 1703.¹
     From before 1643, her married name became Barrington.¹

     Sir John Barrington, 4th Bt. was born on 16 October 1670.¹ He was the son of Thomas Barrington and Lady Anne Rich.¹ He died on 26 November 1691 at age 21 at St. Clement Danes Church, The Strand, London, England, from smallpox, unmarried.¹ He was buried at Hatfield Broadoak, Essex, England.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered on 18 December 1691, and again 16 November 1693.¹
