Sir Charles Barrow, 1st Bt. was born in 1708 at St. Christopher.1 He was the son of Charles Barrow and Elizabeth Harris.1 He married Mary Randall, daughter of Daniel Randall, circa 1728.2 He died on 10 January 1789, without legitimate issue.2 He was buried at Minsterworth, Gloucestershire, England.2 His will (dated 10 August 1787) was probated on 5 September 1789.2

Gloucester ) in 1751.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gloucester between November 1751 and 1789.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 2 July 1754 with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.).1 He was created 1st Baronet Barrow, of Hygrove, co. Gloucester [Great Britain] on 22 January 1784, with a special remainder to Thomas Crawley-Boevey.1 He lived at Highgrove, Minsterworth, Gloucestershire, England.1
