     Sir William Grenville Peek, 5th Bt. was born on 15 December 1919.2 He was the son of Captain Roger Grenville Peek and Hon. Joan Penelope Sclater-Booth.1 He married Lucy Jane Smith, daughter of Major Edward Pendarves Dorrien Smith and Frances Amy Salvin Bowlby, on 8 July 1950.2 He died on 14 September 2004 at age 84.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War, he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 9th Lancers.2 He was chairman of St John's Ambulance at Devon, England.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon in 1966.2 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Peek, of Rouston, Devon [U.K., 1874] on 19 June 1996.3 He lived at Weekemoor, Loddiswell, Devon, England.2

     Major Edward Pendarves Dorrien Smith was born on 26 February 1878 at Buckinghamshire, England.2 He was the son of Thomas Algernon Smith-Dorrien-Smith and Edith Anna Maria Tower.1,2 He married Frances Amy Salvin Bowlby, daughter of Edward Salvin Bowlby and Elizabeth Vans Agnew, on 2 June 1915.1 He died on 12 October 1937 at age 59.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry.3 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He lived at Weir Point, Restronguet, Cornwall, England.4
