     Anne Mary Bates was born in 1915.1 She was the daughter of Sydney Arthur Bates and Mary da Costa Crosse.1 She married Lt.-Col. John Oliver-Bellasis, son of Captain Richard John Erskine Oliver-Bellasis, on 29 July 1939.1 She died on 23 May 2006.2
     From 29 July 1939, her married name became Oliver-Bellasis.1 She lived in 2003 at Beech House, Wootton St. Lawrence, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.1
