     Edward Henry Bellew, 5th Baron Bellew of Barmeath was born on 6 February 1889.1 He was the son of Hon. Richard Eustace Bellew and Ada Kate Gilbey.1 He married Barbara Helen Mary Farnham-Burke, daughter of Sir Henry Farnham Burke and Helena Mary Ray Palmer, on 20 July 1912.1 He died on 8 August 1975 at age 86, without issue.2
     Edward Henry Bellew, 5th Baron Bellew of Barmeath was educated at London Oratory School, London, England.1 He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Air Force.1 He adopted Barbara Mary Corisande Bellew in 1918.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.1 He succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet Bellew, of Barmeath, co. Louth [I., 1688] on 15 June 1935.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Bellew of Barmeath, co. Louth [I., 1848] on 15 June 1935.1

     Bryan Bertram Bellew, 6th Baron Bellew of Barmeath was born on 11 June 1890.1 He was the son of Hon. Richard Eustace Bellew and Ada Kate Gilbey.1 He married Jeanie Ellen Agnes Jameson, daughter of James Ormsby Jameson, on 17 December 1918.1 He died on 7 September 1981 at age 91.2
     Bryan Bertram Bellew, 6th Baron Bellew of Barmeath was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Irish Horse.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baron Bellew of Barmeath, co.
