     Sir John Shaw, 4th Bt. was born on 22 November 1728.1 He was the son of Sir John Shaw, 3rd Bt. and Anna Maria Barnardiston.1 He was baptised on 19 December 1728 at Eltham, Kent, EnglandG.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Hedges, daughter of William Hedges, on 4 February 1749/50.1 He married, secondly, Martha Kenward, daughter of John Kenward, on 17 February 1752.1 He was also reported to have been married on 26 February 1749/50.1 He died on 18 June 1779 at age 50.1 He was buried on 26 June 1779 at Eltham, Kent, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in July 1779.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Shaw, of the city of London [E., 1665] on 4 March 1738/39.1 He matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 29 June 1745.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 28 June 1748 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 12 June 1749 with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)1 He held the office of Sheriff of Kent from 1753 to 1754.1 He lived at Coltshall, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He lived at Eltham Lodge, Eltham, Kent, EnglandG.1

     Elizabeth Hedges was the daughter of William Hedges.1 She married Sir John Shaw, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Shaw, 3rd Bt. and Anna Maria Barnardiston, on 4 February 1749/50.1 She was also reported to have been married on 26 February 1749/50.1 She died on 3 February 1750/51.1 She was buried on 12 February 1750/51 at Eltham, Kent, EnglandG.1
     From 4 February 1749/50, her married name became Shaw.1

     Martha Kenward was born circa 1730.1 She was the daughter of John Kenward.1 She married Sir John Shaw, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Shaw, 3rd Bt. and Anna Maria Barnardiston, on 17 February 1752.1 She died circa October 1794.1 She was buried on 28 October 1794 at Eltham, Kent, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in November 1794.1
     From 17 February 1752, her married name became Shaw.1

Theodosia Margaret Monson was born on 20 September 1762.1 She was the daughter of John Monson, 2nd Baron Monson of Burton and Theodosia Maddison.1 She married Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt., son of Sir John Shaw, 4th Bt. and Martha Kenward, on 9 March 1782 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, EnglandG. She died on 24 October 1847 at age 85.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in November 1847.1
     From 9 March 1782, her married name became Shaw.1

     Sir John Kenward Shaw, 6th Bt. was born on 15 March 1783.1 He was the son of Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt. and Hon. Theodosia Margaret Monson.1 He married Charlotte Lloyd, daughter of William Lloyd, in 1809.1 He died on 17 March 1857 at age 74 at Paris, FranceG, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 28 October 1801.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Shaw, of the city of London [E., 1665] on 28 October 1831.1 He was Colonel of the West Kent Militia between 1832 and 1853.1 He lived at Kenward Park, Yalding, Kent, EnglandG.1
