     Captain Charles Shaw was born on 18 August 1785.2 He was the son of Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt. and Hon. Theodosia Margaret Monson.1 He married Frances Anne Hawley, daughter of Sir Henry Hawley, 1st Bt., on 13 April 1822.2 He died on 2 May 1829 at age 43.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Frances Anne Hawley was the daughter of Sir Henry Hawley, 1st Bt.1 She married Captain Charles Shaw, son of Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bt. and Hon. Theodosia Margaret Monson, on 13 April 1822.3 She died on 11 December 1872.3
     From 13 April 1822, her married name became Shaw.1

     Sir Henry Hawley, 1st Bt. was born on 12 November 1745.2 He was the son of James Hawley and Elizabeth Banks.3 He married, firstly, Dorothy Ashwood, daughter of John Ashwood, on 10 August 1770.2 He married, secondly, Anne Humphreys, daughter of William Humphreys, on 5 September 1785.2 He died on 20 January 1826 at age 80.2
     He was created 1st Baronet Hawley, of Leybourne Grange, co. Kent [Great Britain] on 14 May 1795.1

     Sir John Charles Kenward Shaw, 7th Bt. was born posthumously on 8 June 1829 at Pembury, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Captain Charles Shaw and Frances Anne Hawley.1 He married, firstly, Maria Sparkes, daughter of Henry Sparkes, on 19 June 1860 at Pembury, Kent, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Sophia Emma Anna Maria Finch, daughter of Captain John William Finch, on 15 October 1868 at Pembury, Kent, EnglandG.1 He died on 7 January 1909 at age 79, without issue.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 15 March 1849.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Shaw, of the city of London [E., 1665] on 17 March 1857.1 He lived at Kenward, Kent, EnglandG.1

     Sir John Michael Robert Best-Shaw, 10th Bt. was born on 28 September 1924.1 He was the son of Sir James Kennedy Best-Shaw, 9th Bt. and Elizabeth Mary Theodora Hughes.2 He married Jane Gordon Guthrie, daughter of Alexander Gordon Guthrie, on 13 February 1960.1 He died on 22 April 2014 at age 89.3
