     Vice-Admiral Sir George John Scott Warrender of Lochend, 7th Bt. was born on 31 July 1860.² He was the son of Sir George Warrender of Lochend, 6th Bt. and Helen Purves-Hume-Campbell.² He married Lady Ethel Maud Ashley-Cooper, daughter of Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 8th Earl of Shaftesbury and Lady Harriet Augusta Anna Seymourina Chichester, on 6 February 1894 at St. Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London, England.² He died on 8 January 1917 at age 56.³
