     Commander Hubert Wyndham Barry was born on 6 October 1898.1 He was the son of William James Barry and Lady Grace Murray.1 He married Violet Agatha Ruggles-Brise, daughter of Colonel Sir Edward Archibald Ruggles-Brise, 1st Bt. and Agatha Gurney, on 19 August 1936.1 He died in 1992.1
     Commander Hubert Wyndham Barry fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

He married, secondly, Lucy Barbara Pym, daughter of Rt. Rev. Walter Ruthven Pym and Lucy Anne Threlfall, on 14 March 1939.2 He died on 12 May 1942 at age 59.
     Colonel Sir Edward Archibald Ruggles-Brise, 1st Bt. gained the title of 1st Baronet Ruggles-Brise.
