     Sir Edward Bishopp, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1601.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Bishopp, 1st Bt. and Jane Weston.1 He married Lady Mary Tufton, daughter of Nicholas Tufton, 1st Earl of the Isle of Thanet and Lady Frances Cecil, circa 1626.1 He died in April 1649.1
     Sir Edward Bishopp, 2nd Bt. matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 22 October 1619.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1620.1 He was invested as a Knight on 18 December 1625 at Hampton Court Palace, Kingston-upon-Thames, London, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Steyning in 1626.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Bishopp, of Parham, co. Sussex [E., 1620] in 1626.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Sussex from 1636 to 1637.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bramber between 1640 and 16 December 1640.1 He held the office of Governor of Arundel Castle in 1643.1 In October 1644 he was a compounder, on the side of the King, and his estates were sequestrated.1 In October 1645 he was fined £7,500, but was subsequently reduced to £4,790.1

     Lady Mary Tufton was the daughter of Nicholas Tufton, 1st Earl of the Isle of Thanet and Lady Frances Cecil.1 She married Sir Edward Bishopp, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Bishopp, 1st Bt. and Jane Weston, circa 1626.1 She died in 1663.1
     From circa 1626, her married name became Bishopp.1

     Sir Thomas Bishopp, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 3 December 1627 at Parham, Sussex, England.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Bishopp, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Tufton.1 He died in 1652, unmarried.1
     Sir Thomas Bishopp, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Bishopp, of Parham, co. Sussex [E., 1620] in April 1649.1

     Sarah Bury was born on 11 September 1650.1 She was baptised on 12 September 1650 at Culham, Oxfordshire, England.1 She was the daughter of George Bury.1 She married Sir Cecil Bishopp, 4th Bt., son of Sir Edward Bishopp, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Tufton, on 17 June 1666 at Culham, Oxfordshire, England.1 She died circa March 1679.1 She was buried on 12 March 1679 at Culham, Oxfordshire, England.1
     From 17 June 1666, her married name became Bishopp.1

     Sir Cecil Bishopp, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir Cecil Bishopp, 4th Bt. and Sarah Bury.1 He married Elizabeth Dunch, daughter of Henry Dunch.1 He died on 25 October 1725 at Parham, Sussex, England.1 His will (dated 19 October 1724) was probated on 10 November 1725.1
     Sir Cecil Bishopp, 5th Bt. succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Bishopp, of Parham, co. Sussex [E., 1620] on 3 June 1705.1
